Mehaber
Mehaber is an Amharic (native Ethiopian language) word which, when translated in English, may be defined as "a social gathering of friends or family". Essentially, we are all part of a larger and unified social fabric, as citizens of the world, hence the concept of Mehaber.com is born. Mehaber.com is a not-for-profit, non-denominational and non-political site dedicated to ensuring that legitimate, honest, and committed individuals, charitable and philanthropic organizations across the globe have the financial resources necessary to carry on the tremendous work they do in ensuring that men, women and children all over the world have access to the basic human necessities. Namely, clean water, clothing, access to mental and physical healthcare, education and work opportunities.
Since launching in June 2006, the main goal of Mehaber.com is to provide a visible platform for showcasing the multitude of individuals, charitable and philanthropic organizations working everyday for the betterment of mankind, and the individuals/companies who support them as Corporate Sponsors.
