Julien Fleming Memorial Fund
The Julien Fleming Memorial Fund provides one-time grants to families with critically or terminally ill children based on need. Many times the costs for medical care and required items not covered by insurance exceed the families' ability to pay. The fund was created in 2002 after the passing of Julien Fleming, a little boy in Sterling, VA who had an orphan disease that was very expensive to treat and insufficient insurance. Money was raised to help the family and the extra used to establish this fund to help other children in Julien's memory.
