Forgotten Children
Our Mission is to improve the conditions of children living in difficult circumstances through advocacy, research, training, and projects, especially in the area of education. We believe that every child has a right to enjoy childhood as well as to learn to read and write.
We are currently working in Tamil Nadu, India. We work in collaboration with local grassroots organizations that believe in children's rights. We support basic education and micro-credit projects that will nurture economic independence with dignity to their beneficiaries while respecting their religious beliefs and cultural traditions. Our contribution aims to help children and their families by providing a means to generate income for the family in the form of a loan to purchase an animal, tools, or seeds and by paying for the education of the child for one year.
