Chesapeake Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad
Chesapeake Beach is one of 11 all volunteer rescue squads in Virginia Beach, Virginia, home of the nations largest all volunteer rescue squad.
Our Mission:
To provide volunteer fire fighting and emergency rescue services to those areas of Virginia Beach, Virginia and when required, in other areas as necessary.
Our Objectives:
To conduct, or arrange for the conduct of training and education for all members of the department in the proper methods of fire prevention, fire fighting, first aid and emergency rescue services.
Upcoming Special Event:
In order to maintain our equipment and operating expenses we hold many fund raisers throughout the year. This year we are sponsoring a raffle of a 1999 Aztec Pearl Harely-Davidson Sporster 883 Hugger with a fold-up single bike trailer. Tickets are $25 each with a cut-off of 60 tickets total. The raffle will be held at Southside Harley-Davidson in Virginia Beach on May 2, 1999 at 12:00 Noon during the Hammerhead festival. The winner does not need to be present to win.
