AKOTT / Assisting Kids of Tomorrow Today
The mission of ARISE/AKOTT, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to develop youth centers incorporating programs where at-risk and disadvantaged youth can use free time to develop computer skills, and participate in life-building activities while learning moral values which can lead to productive employment and self-sufficiency. Additionally, AKOTT will offer limited scholarships and personal computers to participants of the program.
At AKOTT we develop and implement programs that will enrich kids’ ethical, social, and intellectual development. While nurturing kids capacity to think skillfully and critically, we strive to deepen kids commitment to moral values such as kindness, helpfulness, personal responsibility, and respect for others, thus reducing youth violent crime in our society and schools.
