The Volunteer Institute
We are the Volunteer Institute, an all volunteer non profit organization dedicated to helping children in crisis. Our target group includes children, teens, and young adults who are homeless, runaways, or "throw aways."
According to the United States Department of Justice approximately 100,000 children are classified as "Throw Aways" each year. Children thrown out like yesterdays garbage by parents who no longer want them.
We are fighting for the lives of children forced to live on the streets of our country. All funds are used here and no funds are ever used for staff salaries. All moneys are spent for the direct care of these kids. Help us to help them.
