Volunteer Peten
I would like to introduce your organization to a program in Guatemala that focuses on volunteer opportunities called Volunteer Peten. We began working in Northern Guatemala in 2002 and received our 501c3 non-for profit organization status in 2004. Our focus is on helping volunteers to make significant contributions to communities through conservation and education projects. In the past few years, we have established our program as the finest volunteer experience in Guatemala and as one of the most accredited Spanish Schools. Our staff is well experienced in working with volunteers and getting them adjusted to communities, cultural differences, language, and work projects. Not only is our volunteer program an immersion experience in a Spanish speaking, Latin American society, but we also provide guidance to volunteers by having our co-director, who is American, work with volunteers and volunteer groups.I encourage your organization to look into recruiting volunteers and students to join in our program. We can provide an amazing volunteer experience for any age group and for groups up to 15. We have all the resources necessary to orientate, train, and get volunteers working on significant projects in a developing country. Our costs are very economical and are all tax deductible, and we can work with any group to specifically plan and design activities and projects for groups.
