Douglas Community & Outreach Center
We are a community & outreach center that provides Low - Moderate income individuals with assistance with housing, job referrals, emergency food, furniture referrals, assistance with security deposits and also back rent assistance.
Our nonprofit organization needs assistance with donations and also a building to run programs:
- After school program
- Youth mentoring program
- Emergency food cupboard
- Assistance with back rent and also security deposits
- Homeless prevention program
- Job referral center
- Welfare to work program
- Child care resource center
- Furniture referral and a host of other programs
We are a 501c3 and have been operating for 18 months. We have been in the Philadelphia Daily News for good work in the community and also the Westside Weekly, a neighborhood paper.
