Youth Action Programs & Homes
Here at Youth Action, every year, we select a group of underprivileged youth (ages 17-24) to participate in our program for a period of ten months. During this time, our participants go through GED preparation, job readiness courses, leadership development courses, college preparation courses, various community service activities. We also rehabilitate housing for handicapped, elderly and low-income families.
We are currently looking for some people to be tutors and we are looking for some mentors for our young adults. We are also looking for some tutors for our after school kids (ages 6-12). We also need some tutors for the summer vacation.
