The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. - IAAS
The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. (IAAS) is a NY-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created in 2000 to enhance understanding of and respect for cultural diversity through literature and media literacy. Our objective is to promote multicultural writers and artists with programming that educates and informs all aspects of the population: the poor and underprivileged, as well as the privileged yet undereducated. The IAAS provides creative quality programming that fuses literature with multidisciplinary arts by collaborating with artists, scholars and community organizations. Our goal is to foster literary talent and achievement, to advance the art of writing ad essential to a good education, and to serve the writers, teachers, students and readers of contemporary literature an the broadest audience possible.
