Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC)
NPCC was established in 1983 to help New York City nonprofits meet common challenges and problems, to serve as a meeting ground, and to strengthen the nonprofit sector as a whole. NPCC currently has over 900 members in the New York metropolitan area, ranging from all volunteer groups to major institutions. NPCC offers its members workshops and roundtables on management issues; a web site with group discounted purchchasing programs; directors and officers liability insurance; a bi-monthly newsletter and periodic informational memos; advocacy efforts on behalf of the sector; Federal Grants Information Service; Nonpofit Liability Insurance Facility.
