Love Our Children USA is a national 501( C ) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to redefining child abuse through aggressive public awareness, education, and advocacy. As the leading grassroots voice for children, we generate safety, nurturing, and positive change on their behalf. Offering information and resources on child development, parenting and family education, child abuse and anti-violence education, and prevention – and resources and information for kids and teens helping them to overcome abuse and violence. Abuse and violence prevention at home … in school ... everywhere ... for all children. Building the bridge from awareness to action … getting to the root of the cause and stopping abuse before it starts.

Children are the most precious gift we can receive. And with that gift comes a responsibility to love, nurture, and protect them.
Child abuse is a serious and overwhelming problem in today’s society with serious ramifications, which too often can shape an abused child into an adult with lifelong issues.
Every 10 seconds a child is abused. Each year over 3 million children are victims of physical, sexual, verbal and emotional abuse, neglect, abandonment, … even death. And those are only the ones that are reported!
Everyday more and more children are neglected, abandoned, beaten, raped, touched inappropriately, mentally tortured, and killed. As you read this, a child is crying out in pain not to be hurt anymore.
While there have been advances in child abuse prevention, and the number of child abuse reports have decreased slightly, we still have a long way to go!
It’s time for a new approach … a new way of loving our children!
By creating public awareness. educating parents, childcare givers, kids, and the general public, every one of us will be given the knowledge and skills to take action … giving kids a chance … helping them in a more immediate and direct way without abandoning them to an inhumane and ineffective "system." But this is only the first crucial step.
By dispersing a strong message about child safety - for the way we live today, millions of children can be saved and lead productive lives.

People feel bad when they hear about a child being abused … for the moment … and then they forget about it. Taking no action. They feel helpless and think they can’t do anything to help. Abusers continue the cycle of abuse because that’s all they know … how to abuse.
Child abuse is frustrating and it’s ugly … in fact it’s the ugliest thing in the world … but there is hope!
Rather than be part of the problem, we urge you to become part of the solution to keeping all children safe, loved and nurtured. Your courage and commitment will help increase public awareness, advocacy, and education. By doing your part, you’ll be helping us to prevent neglect and violence against all children.
