Learning English Adult Program, Inc.
The mission of Learning English Adult Program, Inc. is to provide free classes in ESL to adults living in New York City in order to develop or improve their English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension. The purpose is to help adults achieve proficiency in all areas of English so they can fully participate in the educational, professional, and cultural activities in the United States.We offer both day and evening classes to beginning, intermediate and advanced level students with no more than 20 students in a class.
Students learn English through the production of an interactive magazine about LEAP, New York City and immigrants. Students have the chance to put their writing, pictures and home made videos on the web.
