Kids International Net Donations
KIND - Kids International Net Donations - was set up to help children's charities around the world; and to help their supporters. It's a charity shopping portal and donations site, where any children's charity can register for free.
How we work: We have links to 100s of well-known online stores from around the world, such as Amazon, Priceline and Barnes & Noble. Every time someone shops at one of those stores after clicking on the link from our site, they will give a percentage of the transaction price to us. We pass on the entire amount to the organisation selected by the shopper. We noticed that many of the 'Give as you shop' and free donations sites don't allow charities' supporters to decide which charity they want to support. At most, they might allow you to choose the type of charity. This means that many smaller charities are overlooked in favour of a small number of larger, already well-funded charities.
KIND aims to allow even the smallest charity or non-profit to raise funds, since if you have only one supporter, the funds raised by that supporter can go directly to you. We will accept nominations by charities and supporters and the charity will start to receive donations instantly.
KIND is an entirely volunteer-run site and does not deduct any expenses from money raised. 100% of funds raised are given directly to the children's charities listed.
If a charity or its supporters select it, then all funds raised during that visit will go to that charity. You can nominate a charity using form provided on the site. You can also select 'all recipient charities' for donations to be divided between all charities on the site.
