Inwood House
Inwood House is dedicated to helping adolescents achieve healthy adulthood and self-reliance. From prevention to teen parent care and training, Inwood House addresses every aspect of teen pregnancy and is there for our most vulnerable teenagers at every critical juncture. The Inwood House Maternity Residence in a comprehensive care facility for pregnant teens in foster care. Our Mother/Baby Foster Care program places teen mothers and their babies in a safe family environment. The Inwood House Adolescent Parents in Training and Young Fathers programs offers support services, educational and vocational guidance, and independent living skills training to teen parents. Prevention efforts include Teen Choice, our nationally recognized school-based pregnancy and disease prevention and counseling program operating in 14 New York City public schools, and Boys to Men which provides boys between 10 and 16 with meaningful after school activities.
