Family Service Association of Glens Falls, Inc.
Family Service Association of Glens Fall, Inc. began its human service operations in 1910. Over the years the organization has evolved into a multi-crisis human service agency.
The agency is located at 144 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, New York 12801.
We provide services to a non-target population who are experiencing critical financial difficulties. More often than not, our families are working through multiple crises.
The consumers that will seek out our agency will have low income, serious illness, working for low wages, fixed incomes and/or have chronic disabilities.
In addition to providing services to benefit the whole family unit, there are services exclusively for our community youth such as Feet First (new school shoes), Holiday Assistance Programs and children’s emergency dental care.
With the above mentioned, our families will have an opportunity to succeed and move forward out of poverty. Therefore, our program for the family crisis, recovery and prevention provides an opportunity for our consumers to evaluate their present situation with professional guidance of the Family Service staff.
