Trail Of Tears Of Kentucky Indian Tribe Incorporated
We are a non-profit Native American Indian Organization located in Rockcastle County in the state of Kentucky. We are people of Native American Indian Race. We are a non-profit organization and are under a 501(c)3 tax exempt status. We are dedicated to preserving the culture, history, customs, lands, water, wildlife, religion, language and heritage of the Native American people. We are state recognized but not federal. We are a new organization and are just getting off the ground. We feel like the Native American Indian race is a dying race here in the state of Kentucky and would like to change that in some way.
We want to set up a museum, an Indian reservation, a place were people can trace their heritage, a wildlife preservation, and a place to help people of Native American Indian Race. We are looking for start up grants or donations to help get our organization off the ground.
We are also looking for grants or donations to help us get started with the all the above projects we have mentioned. Once we get enough funds to start these projects we will be well on our way to preserving the American Indian heritage in the state of Kentucky.
There are countless people in the state of Kentucky who are of Native American Indian race but are not recognized as such.
