STRIKE FORCE Prison Ministry
STRIKE FORCE Prison Ministry was birthed out of Von Hanshaw's mission to minister to offenders, their families, and the victims of crime.
This ministry is the epitome of a team effort with over 150 volunteers working side by side to share the compassion of Christ in practical ways.
Von Hanshaw is the Executive Director & Founder of STRIKE FORCE Prison Ministry and all the ministry outreaches below. From a wheel chair, due to Muscular Dystrophy, Von Hanshaw leads the STRIKE FORCE Prison Ministry team with a warriors spirit, a fiery passion, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit that effects change in the hearts of hundreds of lives of men, women, boys and girls.
We are based in Soldier, Kentucky.
We fill 10,000 Christmas Stockings annually for the kids of prisoners in Kentucky & Southern Indiana.
We send the kids of prisoners to summer church camps throughout Kentucky.
We operate a Women's Halfway House for released women offenders called New Beginning Mercy Home. We offer quality programs dealing with Vocational Training, secular Education Classes, Bible College training, Life Coping skills, parenting classes, freedom from addiction program, daily Bible studies, parent-child reconciliation program and weekly chapel services. Currently, we can house up to 4 women upon their release from a Kentucky state prison.
