The Society for Creative Writers
The Society for Creative Writers is a Kansas Statewide Non-Profit Organization dedicated to helping members achieve their goals. Membership is open to all writers and movie makers from around the world.
Membership is $25.00 for your first year and $20.00 each additional year.
Memberships include:
- Year subscription to monthly newsletter: The Publisher X-Press
- Discounts to all of our contests
- 20% off all creative writing books in print
- A monthly meeting held in different towns in Kansas to discuss writing and listen to top speakers
- Once-a-year publication to submit material worthy of publication

I would like to start a creative writing group in my town. How do I go about doing that? Branch Membership to the group to start your own branch is $20.00. This includes your, the founder of that branch, membership fee. Within the package you receive, you will receive the constitution, contest and information on memberships.
Once your $20.00 is received through the mail, your branch will be included in the branch mailing list.
Please do not send money through the mail, only send checks or money orders made out to SCWM.
