Zion Evangelistic Ministries - ZEM
Zion Evangelistic Ministries (ZEM)is a Non-profit ministry registered under the societies Registration Act xxi of 1860, recognized by the government of Andhra Pradesh,india. ZEM is established to promote all aspects of Human Development such as physical, social, Educational, Economical, Health advancement and inspire people through moral , ethical and spiritual services.
ZEM History:
ZEM was founded in the year 2003; In fact the church ministry was started 25 years ago. We have churches at different parts of Andhra Pradesh. ZEM involves in church planting, Evangelism, Children Ministry, Youth Ministry, women Ministry and many other ministries.
Aims and Objectives of ZEM:
ZEM is established with God given vision and passion to reach the people of India with His Gospel, and His love and His compassion.
Our Ministries:
Our work involves spiritual and social welfare activities.
Our spiritual activities involve Church Planting Ministry, Evangelism, Children Ministry, Youth Ministry and Women Ministry.
- Church Planting Ministry:
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Mat 28: 19) ZEM is committed to His mandate and involving in church planting ministry. So far many churches have been planted where in the worked for the last 20 years. Pastors are appointed in most of the churches. God has been adding many souls to His kingdom through these churches.
- Evangelism:
We believe that Jesus' command before His ascension is very important to be implemented by the present day church. Therefore we conduct evangelical tours to different parts of our Andhra Pradesh preaching His gospel to the Unreached. In the past we conducted several evangelism tours through which we planted the present churches in various parts of our state.
- Children Ministry:
Every year we conduct children gospel clubs for almost a week in all our centers and our fellowship churches in the summer vacation through which we educate Christ to the pagan children and lead them to Sunday schools throughout the year. Addition to this we conduct Sunday school classes before the service every Sunday.
- Youth ministry:
Youth are the backbones of the congregation in any church and, by leading the youth to His church, we are able to guide a whole future family to His kingdom. So ZEM has started a separate wing of ministry under church called "Young India for Christ". As a part of it we have already conducted big youth meetings in 2005 and 2006 where 400 youth from nearby villages came and participated in the youth retreats. Most of the delegates have decided to live a dedicated life to God in those conventions.
- Women Ministries:
- Helping the poor agriculturalists
- Distribution of clothes, blankets and other essential commodities
- Distribution of house construction material to the needy
- Conducting relief camps during natural calamities
- Conducting medical camps / giving medical aid
- Helping poor by giving work and tools
- Widows & orphans
- Self employment
- Borewells
