Times Of Philanthropy (TOP)Working with heart and soul TIMES OF PHILANTHROPY (TOP) organization operates with a vision to bring the worlds most different concepts to support national and state community welfare programs; to bring in the harmonious development in education, health and employment; to reach the backward masses, “Person by person”, “city by city” with compassion, concern and care coupled with the single-minded objective of community welfare, as the fountain head of inspiration. This movement called “Helping People” to open a new chapter in the history of community welfare as a non profit social marketing organization to give care and support for people living in different communities through information, education, communication, social mobilization and care. The organization strongly believe Times of Philanthropy can solve the problem as a whole. TIMES OF PHILANTHROPY (TOP) started in Hyderabad the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, which offers a fascination panorama of the past, with a richly mixed cultural and historical tradition spanning 400 colorful years. TOP Understanding Social marketing - Social marketing is a more complex concept, and sometimes less effective than its commercial counterpart, since it aims to influence people's ideas and behavior (for example, to make them give up smoking). Marketing social products with a tangible base is even more complex, as demand has to be created for the idea or product concept, such as family planning, as well as for the tools or product itself, such as condoms. Commercial marketing, in contrast, tries to steer existing patterns of thought and behavior in a certain direction, convincing consumers that a certain brand of toothpaste is superior, for instance, rather than that it is important to brush the teeth regularly. TOP works in communities regardless of race or religion and works to identify who the beneficiaries are and design the project which benefit the community as a whole, or be targeted at those most in need, with transparent and fair process to determine aspect of the work. The principal which underlies our work is that TOP works are inspired and directed by our understanding of the principle of “Charity” as a form of “Justice”. We view the relief and elimination of poverty as the correcting of socio-economic Injustice. |
