SUSI Charitable TrustSUSI CHARITABLE TRUST is a multipurpose registered charitable trust established in the year 2003 at Bhubaneswar, India. It is managed by a board of trustees. We have a three fold action plan such as Child care and Education, Care and rehabilitation of mentally ill and Humanitarian works. A school named Daystar Kindergarten and Daycare is established with a view to make quality education accessible even to the less privileged by providing fee concession, study materials, etc. to the children from poor families. We conduct extension works at nearby rural areas and provide school uniforms and school bags to poor children. Our aim is to establish a model English medium school at Bhubaneswar integrating poor and rich in the same class. Our motto is quality education for all with prejudice towards none. Another priority area for us is care and rehabilitation of the mentally ill. We propose to create adequate public awareness through seminars, councelling centres, forming self help groups of caregivers, family members and friends of the mentally ill. We wish to challenge the social stigma associated with mental illness through education regarding scientific basis of different mental illnesses. We wish to evolve a community that is scientifically equipped and emotionally united to support the sufferers and care givers of the mentally ill. No more stigma! No more shame !!No more suffering with illness in mind and the legs in chain. No more the family members shall remain isolated in shame and anguish. We do care. Do you care?
