St.George's Jacobites Syrian Orthodox Church Society
Dear Friends,
We introduce ourselves as a Christian Church engaged in doing charity activities like helping the poor by providing them with free food, clothing , education etc. We are conducting holy mass in a small flat in Hastal (near Vikas Puri) of Delhi for the last three years. Despite the limited resources at the disposal, the church has taken its social commitment seriously. A preparatory school catering to the poor children of the area is functioning in this flat for the last two years. Due to the limited space to conduct the Sunday masses in a residential area and also because the size of the flat is too small to accommodate the laity, we are in the process of building a church around 1 km away from the present location. For this purpose we have purchased a small plot and the construction is in its initial stage. But there is a short of funds for completing the construction work.
I, Fr. Alias Iype, Vicar of St.George’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, New Delhi, India approach you for your prayerful support and kind contribution for the construction of our church.
You may contact me for an appeal brochure and some photographs giving the details of our present activities and position with a hope to receive your valuable support by giving a small contribution to our church construction fund for the success of this noble project.
