SAWCR stands for "Society for Advocacy of Women and Child Rights". It is registered under the Societies Act, with Registered Office at Rajahmundry in the Year 2003. It is the outcome of the bold initiative taken by the Youth, with an orientation to bring Fundamental change in the thought process of the people regarding their society and its Problems. SAWCR believes that, Youth are not use less but they are used less. Hence it goes forward to mobilize the Youth for taking part in Social Development.
Genesis of SAWCR is the Intellectual response towards a Planned development of the Society. SAWCR is not sensitive towards the Problems but it is sensitive towards the deep-rooted Mind set, which is responsible for all the social evils.
OBJECTIVES:
- To free the Child Labor from the Shackles by mobilizing the youth and rehabilitate them, to bring them to the normal Stream.
- To promote the women Entrepreneurs by helping them establish cottage industries, through the principle of SELF-HELP.
- To provide a legal Platform for Women to address their grievances and air their voices.
- To mobilize the Youth to Promote AIDS awareness campaigns.
- To Partner with different Organizations, which helps in transferring the Technology to the Grass root level, which in turn helps in speedy economic development.
- To promote Women Panchayats in the villages, which help them, understand and solve one another’s Problems.
