Ramakrishna Math at Puri in Orissa, being a holy place - the abode of Lord Jagannath spiritually enriched by the presence of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Brahmananda, Swami Turiyananda and other direct disciples of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna has been engaged since its inception in 1932, in transmitting the spiritual radiance by propelling the motto of serving the poor people of this district in particular and the State in general irrespective of caste, creed, colour and religion embossing the idea in the words of Swami Vivekananda – the Founder of Ramakrishna Math, “After so much austerity, I have understood this as the real truth, God is present in every Jiva, there is no other God besides that who serves Jiva serves God indeed “ and invariably and tangibly implemented ‘ Service to Man is Service to God’ by way of undertaking the following Welfare activities with their striving financial implications.

Dear friends and devotees,
Please listen to the throbbing heart of the poor people crying for the need and help to get from you. Your contributions for the above purposes, may be for one or more causes, will certainly take you and us as well lead to the realm of Supreme bliss.
Please do help us as much as you can and make others too to feel for the poor, to come forward with their help in the name of God and His highest form of manifestation as Human beings.
The donations are exempt from Income Tax u/s 80G I.T.Act 1961 and always welcome in favour of ‘The President, Ramakrishna Math, Puri, Orissa’ by way of a Bank Draft payable at SBI, Puri( Main Branch), or CBI, Puri or UBI, Puri or ICICI Bank, Bhubaneswar.
Ramakrishna Math, Puri is eligible to receive foreign contributions directly being registered by the Govt of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act- 1976, Registration No. 105020108 .
In the case of donors in the USA, you can route your donations for our Educational and Medical Activities through ASTI (American Service To India). Your kind contributions will then be deductible for U.S. tax purposes under IRC 501(c)(3).
