Peoples Development Service Trust
Greetings from PDSS. We would like to express some things about our organization. Ours is a non-profitable voluntary organization. It's called Peoples Development Service Society and was started by like mind youth who wanted to help the development rural poor people in vulnerable society and promote volunteerism to strengthen disadvantaged children. It's open to all private institution organizations and individuals in India without reference to sex, caste and creed. It's registered under the society act.
We entirely depend on amounts received for our project by subscription of members, other organizations and donations from well wishers.
Our organization is currently working in the backward villages in Vellore, DT because of low literacy, less industrial development inadequate agriculture reforms, continued migration, etc. The efforts made, both by the government machinery and the limited Non-government voluntary organizations, have not shown adequate results especially in the last decade. We plan to perform our project in Vellore, DT.
Most of the people are engaged in agriculture, brick making, quarry work, hand loom, and match work and beedi factories. The target group will be poorest people in the society.
At present we are running a children’s home that provides shelter, food, clothing, education and health care for vulnerable children. We are also conducting two free tuition centers for schooling the poor children of parents who lobar in beedi factory, match factory and quarry work by the financial help of local contributions. We would like to start 5 more tuition centers for children.
So, regarding our project, we are seeking financial assistance from you or your organization. We kindly request you to send application form and details of applying for grants.
