Mount Carmel School
Mount Carmel School started in April 2003. It is governed by prominent local christian leaders. Mr. T. K. Saji is now working as Managing director and Mr. Wilson C. John as principal of the school. In 2003 we got only 25 admissions. Due to having less students, the school could face a big debt of about 100,000 Rupees. The school does not have any support from any organisations or individuals. Last year the school conducted three awareness programmes for the villagers.
Our aim is to give education for village children. The population of this area is near about 400,000. The people who here are Garhwalis. Most of them are illiterate. There is not a good hospital in this place.
So economically and socially this place is very backward. We look forward to hearing from any persons and organisations who can help in this ministry.
