MINDS Society
MINDS Society is a non-governmental organisation that aims:
- To promote and implement sustainable development practices, policies and strategies in Africa through dissemination of information, training, education, research, advocacy and campaigning.
- To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public, the preservation, conservation and protection of the environment, and the prudent use of natural resources, the relief of poverty and the environment of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities.
- To promote sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.
- To advance the education of the public in subjects related to sustainable development and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment and to promote study and research in such subjects.
- To increase the knowledge base within the public and local civil society organisations about environment and sustainable development issues.
