Manav Charities
MANAV CHARITIES is a registered Non-Governmental, Non-Profitable, Secular Voluntary Organization registered under Karnataka Societies registration act in the year 1999. It is established by a group of like minded people for the development of society. Its aim is to develop the Socio-economic, educational, health, community development and environment activities for the welfare and development of rural and urban disadvantaged sector of Karnataka. The governing body members are people from different walks of life and have their individual capacities. They have held the positions in government department and business where policy making, program conceptualization and program delivery and implementation for rural development is part of their responsibilities.
Manav Charities an ambitious NGO working towards eradication of poverty, with personal involvement in programs / projects, having selfless, devotion and zeal to work under any conditions and innumerable constraints have achieved its first step to spread the work area.
SHAPE (School Health Awareness Program and Education) - SHAPE is planed with an aim of keeping the project through out the year to implement in all the government primary schools with the objective in focus:
- To promote health awareness among children.
- To make education joyful and participant.
- To bring down the dropout rate in Government schools.
SWATHA (Sexual Workers Awareness Towards HIV/AIDS). SWATHA also means oneself. There are more than fie lakhs people affected with HIV/AIDS in Karnataka .Manav Charities is creating awareness and working towards rehabilitation.
CMCA (Children Movement for Civic Awareness) under the aegis of Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation to instill civic issues in the minds of conscious citizens and to resort for he welfare of the citizens through the children community with the curriculum which includes SWM, Water conservation, Road Safety, Traffic, Eco Friendly Environment Sanitation etc. which makes a visible difference in the ask of elevating the society in which they live to brighten the image of the nation.,
Project Man-Power- We have candidates data and as per the requirement of the industries/Employer, we guide the candidates and the industries. This project helps the employee and employer and also supports us with funds for other projects.
Other Projects like STRIP (Support Totally Rural Integrated Program), CHAP (Comprehensive Health Awareness Program), Programs towards physically challenged, Survey to study prevalence, nature and condition of child labor also exist.
