Ours is a non- profitable, multi-speciality eye hospital, run under the stewardship of Dr. Suhas Haldipurkar - a world renowned cataract surgeon, who has extended his surgical and clinical skills for the control of preventable blindness conditions in the rural areas of Raigad District in Maharashtra, India.The hospital is run by a trust and offers free cataract and other eye surgeries to the poor and the needy as well as conducts bachelors and degree courses for optometry science, eye banking, training programs in phacoemulsification surgery and SICS. The hospital runs its community services through donations by individual donors, gram panchayats, international agencies like rotary club, lions club, etc. Donations are exempted from income tax and donors are appropriately felicitated. We follow the motto that the right to live goes hand in hand with the right to see.
