Kottayam Social Service Society
The Catholic Diocese of Kottayam has established KOTTAYAM SOCIAL SERVICE SOCIETY (KSSS) in 1964 to organize social service activities in the operational areas of the diocese without discrimination of caste and creed. KSSS is a registered under Charitable Societies Registration Act of the government (Reg. No. K. 15/1964) and under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act in 1985.
Our motto: COMMITTED FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION.
Our vision: ESTABLISHMENT OF A JUST SOCIETY.
Our means: Organizing the under-privileged in groups on 20 to 30 and empowering them for social change. Thus we have 51 women groups, 21 agricultural groups, 6 anti-alcohol groups, 40 youth groups.
Our Target Group: People below poverty line.
We also help for house construction, medical help, emergency relief etc.
