From the year 2000 onwards, it is planned to do a minimum of 10,000 surgeries every year. Our project is mainly funded by KG Medical Trust and partly by other service organizations like Lions Club International, District Blindness Control Society etc.The success of the project and the joy of a person able to see again are of tremendous encouragement, but the true goal of extending this service to every needy person in the country can only be achieved by the involvement of philanthropists, industrialists, financial institutions, community-oriented organizations and every public-spirited citizen. At present a 200 Bed Eye Hospital Complex is being constructed exclusively for the Poor Blind Patients with Cataract. It is a 3 Crore Project. |
