Jyothi Society For Tribal And Poor Development
Mission/Vision:
We create HIV awareness in rural youth and give training for youth, child development, provide education to dropouts. We run a 6 bed hospital for HIV infected youth. Virodhi Foundation envisions an AIDS free society and to be a potent force to combat the global HIV/AIDS epidemic, and extend all the requisite support in averting the rampant diffusion of this deadly virus affecting men, women, teens and children alike.
What does the organization do?
Youth Development Activities:
We are working with a mission for the prevention of HIV/AIDS in society. We are running a hospital exclusively for the treatment of HIV/AIDS patients. As part of the programme, we are regularly conducting an awareness programme in slums around Hyderabad, running a blood donations camp and awareness programme in coordinate with District Youth Services, Ranga Reddy District.
Opportunities for Youth:
We have no opportunities for youth in your organization . If you can please send volunteers to work in our organization. We have no funding. We need help in the education field and we need some guidelines and help with counseling and post test follow up. We need to increase the awareness among the people in slums of the cities regarding HIV/AIDS and we need to encourage usage of condom/Nirodh in people to reduce the incidence of HIV among the high risk persons.
