As an integral aspect of health, we plan to focus our energies on counseling AIDS patients and disseminating information about AIDS. Development and Human Rights the inextricable link between human rights and development has been constantly re-affirmed and today it is no longer possible to envisage national development without taking into account the human rights scenario. Hence, developmental planning and schemes of the government as well as private agencies would be examined /studied & the violation of human rights arising on a sequel would be exposed & people made aware of. Empowerment of Women Exploited and battered, the Indian woman is a silent embodiment of desertion and discrimination on all fronts. Hence, we would focus on concretizing women to battle against atrocities and harassment perpetrated on them availability of legal resources, strengthen their inner resources; assert themselves make conscious choices in their lives. Awareness would be generated on issues relating to women's self-help activities, the social economic impact of development on women would be assessed and their experiences would be documented. To defend the Constitutional rights of Dalits in general and Safai Karamcharies in particular and tribal organized by the present model of development emphasizing privatization profit making, the dalits and tribal have been passive victims of its brutal consequences. Compelled to give up their native lifestyle focusing on community ownership of resources and environment friendly life, they form the last rung of the developmental ladder. We plan to reach out to the marginalized deprived communities and join in their struggle for preserving their identity and culture and concretizing them as far as their constitutional rights are concerned.
