Jeevan Prakash Education Society - JPES
Jeevan Prakash education Society (JPES), is a secular, Non-Profit, Non-Political and Non-Government voluntary organization based at Bidar, Karnataka State, registered under Karnataka Societies registration Act-1960 (K.S.R-Act-1960) vide Reg. No. 267/2003-04. To achieve one of its objectives, JPES established a special residential blind school byname "Asha Deepa School for the Blind" (ADSFB) in the year 2003 and started rehabilitating the blind children within the age group of 4-15 years in the Bidar & Neighboring districts of Karnataka State India.
Its area of operation is the village of Bidar Dist. in Karnataka State. JPES gives priority to the economically / socially disadvantages in the villages, particularly Visually Impaired Children, Pregnant Women and Children of the peasant families. The main activities of the JPES are to be rehabilitation and education of the disables (Visually Impaired). Women & Child Health, Vocational Training and Income Generation.Computer Training and training in life skills.
