Holy Gospel MinistriesWho we are: Holy Gospel Ministries is a Christian charity missionary organization located at Nidubrolu in the state of Andhra Pradesh In India. HGM was started in the year 1983 by Pastor G. Balasundaram according to the calling by the Lord through a vision when healed by lungs and respiratory problem. What we are: Holy Gospel Ministries was formed with the main intention of reaching the lost souls for Christ according to Mark 16:15, “Jesus said: Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature”. The main objective to start HGM was to establish churches in areas where the economically backward and socially alienated people never had an opportunity to hear the gospel. In the beginning HGM had to face many problems in the areas where poverty, immorality, uncivilization and idolatry was rampant. The organization which started with a handful of believers in a small thatched hut which has extended to 19 churches at different areas in Guntur and Prakasam districts gradually in 20 years. We as an organization are into Church planting ministry constructing churches and placing trained pastors in the churches where we have planted. As of now we have 19 Pastors placed in different churches in the vast regions of Guntur and Prakasam districts in Andhra Pradesh in South India. These Pastors are mainly supported through the humble offerings and Sunday gifts given by the congregation members. During the long periods of our outreach ministries, we observed that many widows were in a helpless condition abandoned by their families or near distant relatives. In India the widows continuously live a pathetic life. The widows are not allowed to marry again and a widow has no respect in our society. Their very appearance is a symbol of ill fate for the people here. The widows are not allowed to attend any of the joyful occasions in the society such as naming ceremony, marriages, etc.. Right now we have 21 widows who are provided with two meals along with food and are sheltered in most of our churches. Every month a health check-up is held to see their health conditions. We are also looking for ways to rehabilitate the young widows through remarriages and also by helping them to set up a small business to support their needs if not satisfied in staying with us. We are also taking care of 15 orphans who were brought from different villages when we went on our Gospel outreach services. These children were found to have lost their parents in different calamities such as fire accidents, floods, cyclones and in anti Christian attacks. These children were just roaming the streets before we rescued them brought them. These children are being provided with education keeping in mind their future. They are also provided with menial meals. Monthly health check ups are held for them. Our Other Programmes:
