Gramin Vikas Samiti Brijlalanagar (GVSB)
Gramin Vikas Samiti Brijlalnagar (GVSB), Malpura is a non-profit making, secular and non-government organization founded in 1996. GVSB is a registered organization under Rajasthan society registration act 1958 and FCR act.
GVSB has its registered office in Malpura town located about 85-km North of Jaipur, the state capital of Rajasthan. The organization primarily works in four districts of Rajasthan. GVSB is operating a variety of development interventions categorically in the field of education, community health care, women’s empowerment and institutional development.
The vision of the organization is “Creation of self reliant society with regard to education livelihood and health.”
Mission Statement - “Mainstreaming the poor communities of central and south eastern Rajasthan deprived from the human rights of education livelihood and health in the process of development.”
Since inception the organization has been implementing different projects on the line of the mission. GVSB has a set of strategy and approaches for implementing development interventions they are:
- Building development programs and projects on local knowledge, practices and beliefs.
- Practicing comprehensive approach for every development initiative, this must be followed by appropriate analysis and thorough study of the needs or conditions.
- Fostering partnership with village institutions as well as Panchayati Raj Institutions.
- Mobilizing community contribution for participatory development process.
- Strengthening network of village institutions for grassroots democracy.
- Advocating people’s right of equal benefits.
- Promoting use of appropriate scientific methods and practices in natural resource management.
- Giving priority to gender based livelihood interventions.
- Strengthening collaboration with Government and technical as well research institutions.
