Good Samaritan Baptist Ministries (GSBM)
Greetings to you in the most precious name of the lord and saviour Jesus Christ, I would like to share about our small ministries in coastal Andhra Pradesh for your kind concern in Christ.
In India is an Integrated rural and Urban Development Education, Orphan Home and Widow Home and Non formal Education Centers, Community Development Programs in Rural Areas. etc. It is a Non Profitable development organizing along with its gospel ministries church plantations. It was registered in the year of 1997 under the govt of A.P. Societies Registration. Act of XXI of 1860. It is consenting and doing its ministry among unknowing people in rural and tribal areas. - Krishna & Guntur Dist. A. P. State. South India. It has been functioning in 16 villages above 60 thousands population in the area. Its main concern it to bring equality among the rural masses through Education and Orphan home and Widow homes and also spiritually strengthening by provide necessary services and needs based plans. Hence GSBM Evangelism, Churches in India is a dedicated voluntary Organization to help the very poorest of the poor in the rural areas.
ACTIVITIES & SERVICES
- Gospel Ministry:
I am Rev. P. Devadanam and am president of this non-profit organization Society and completely dedicated to it. I have much interest in improving and developing the rural people in Spiritually and Social and Economic Development. I have dedicated myself for the lord and Savior Jesus Ministry among the Rural and tribal people.
I have been doing the Lord’s Ministry since 1990 in the rural Area of Challapalli Krishna District in Approximately 16 villages. With the grace of Jesus I have prepared several preachers in its surroundings. They are fully co operating with me in the Ministry of the Gospel. So far hundreds of souls have turned to Christ and accepted the Lord Jesus as their savior. We are regularly conducting Sunday Worships and Children Schools and Youth fellowship meetings and Crusades and seminars in the area of Challapalli. We are really enjoying and getting spiritual blessings through our gospel Ministry.
- Child Development:
Pastor S. Sangeetha Rao is the secretary and the matron of gsbm. orphan home. It was established in the year 2001 with the strength of children increased from 5 to 25 children. We are identifying the orphan children all over of Krishna district. We are planning to propose to improve the orphan home to 100 members and also planning to propose constructing a building for their shelter. At this time we are arranging for their boarding only and also need for their shelter, a school, chapel, etc.,
- Widows:
Mrs. P. Krupavaram is matron of Widow Home. It was obtained by this Organization from the local congregational members contributions. We have maintained 30 Widows. We provide meals for those needing them from this home. We also need a building for their shelter.
- Non Formal & Adult Education Centers:
Non-Formal Education centers and classes in the Evening are provided in every village to all the children who are Non-school going and drop outs. 50 to 60 children are attending the classes. We are educating them In reading and writing and good behavior of Society. We think that church and community will develop through the literacy that is given by us.
- Village Development Committee:
Who is the member of our society? We are organizing a village Development Committee through members in every village including the Eldest person from the each community in the committee and discussing these needs and problems to solve them smoothly and harmoniously.
- Future Plans:
- A Proposing a Building in our town outskirts to provide shelter, School Chapel etc., to 100 Orphans all over the Guntur & Krishna District.
- Proposing and planned to construct a building to provide shelter to 100 Aged women all over our Area.
- And we have proposed and future plans to construct and plant church Buildings in every one of our 15 villages.
- Community Development Programs in Rural Areas.
CONCLUSION:
GSBM development Societies in India is giving a spiritually and social uplifting service among the poorest of the poor people in Society. Let all hands may give freely to the poor people.
