Community Services Trust, Salem
Community Services Trust Salem is a registered non-profit working in the field of tribal rural and urban development initiatives with a special focus on women and children.
Guided by the basic principle "HAPPY CHILD AND HAPPY WOMAN FOR A HAPPY FAMILY AND HAPPY COMMUNITY", CST believes in COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT FOR AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY WITH PEACE AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
Founded in the year 1990 by socially committed people, CST has been promoting various human development activities.
GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS:
CST is operating in Ten Development Blocks of Salem and Namakkal Districts in Tamilnadu viz Yercaud (Tribal Area), Salem, Magudanchavadi, Konganapuram, Tharamangalam and Omalur Blocks in Salem district and Namakkal(Aids affected area), Kollihils (Tribal Area), Vennandur and Pallipalayam Blocks in Namakkal district.

10) Sanitary Mart Project for Rehabilitation of Scavengers
11) Organic Farming and Women Farmers Empowerment
12) Health promotion in the neglected and unserved hill areas
APPEAL:
We have a lot of difficulties in managing our project financial commitments since all our projects are only partially supported by our local governmental resources. These governmental resources are never in time nor sufficient to fully fund our efforts and work. Hence we need to have people or any donor agency to help support us financially and encourage us to promote CST as a strong and sustainable NGO able to withstand all difficulties.
CST appeals to all philanthropic communities,donors, corporations to help us raise funds for our projects. We welcome international delegates,friends,visitors experts,consultants and all concerned to visit our projects help build up CST as a sustainable NGO for sustainable development to the society and to realize our Vision of COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT.
