Christian Love In Action
Christian Love In Action is a non-profit, Christian relief and charitable organisation specialising in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the tribal villagers in western India. We provide critically needed aid including food and medical care, all in Christ's name. By meeting these fundamental needs, we earn a hearing for the message of salvation through Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Wherever we work, our main objective is proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Christian Love In Action was founded in 1975 by Veersen Hiwarle. Veersen, the father-in-law of Christian Love In Action's Honorary Director Lazurus Padale, was converted to Christianity in 1940. After three years of bible college training, Veersen began works as a village evangelist, bringing many of his Hindu friends and relatives to Christ. Some 35 years later, Verseen realised the Lord was calling him to a greater task - the founding of Christian Love In Action.
