INTRODUCTION:

Church of Hope Ministries (CHM is a nondenominational and nonprofit making Evangelistic Outreach and Humanitarian organization established in the year 2006 by the group of people those who are committed to give hope to all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It has been registered under the A.P. Societies Registration Act - 35 of 2001 with its base center at Guntur City. It was started and guided by an elected executive body of Members

Guntur is a one of the Coastal district of Andhra Pradesh state situated at about 400 kms towards south from its capital city Hyderabad. It is one of the historical place, and an educational centre. It consists several pilgrim centers and attracts hundreds of pilgrims every week. The population of Guntur district is nearly 60 lakhs. But the percentage of the Christians in this District is only 4%.

MISSION:

To make widely known the word of God such a way as to present every person complete in Christ, and instill a hope through proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and instill a hope through proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.

AIM:

To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the people irrespective of caste, Creed, religion, sex or age and demonstrate HIS love and Compassion to the poor and the needy.

ACTIVITIES:

While the Church of Hope Ministries (CHM) major work is evangelism, Taking, the Gospel to people who need to hear it. Specific activities are reaching the unreached through:

1. Evangelistic outreach Program
2. People organization Program
3. Giving Hope to all Program

1. To organize Evangelistic Outreach programs, Crusades and revival meetings.
2. To establish prayer fellowships and churches.
3. To publish and obtain Bible Literature, Holy Bibles and magazines for free distribution to the public
4. To organize retreat programs for youth and adolescent.
5. To establish and organize Sabbath Schools, Vocational Bible study programs to children.

As it was said in the Bible, "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." (Col 1:27-28) Church of Hope Ministries was formed by Pastor. K. John Sobhan and Evangelist. This ministry's members visit person to person, family to family and village to village and the slums through proclaiming the Gospel because Gospel is the Power of God unto salvation.

In their visits they faced lot of problems with other communities. They all disagreed and mocked at them they bear the brunt of Criticism, but they never step back. They are very effective in evangelizing and disciplining the heathen communities. They even work until after midnight after preaching several hours in village congregations. Some of them are in short food supplies; now and then many missionaries have only one meager meal a day. These missionaries lay down their lives for Gospel ministry in rural areas with a hope of salvation and to win souls.

They follow the way of Jesus Christ, the way of the Cross to reach out with the affirmation of love, hope, faithfulness, needed help, God's truth, forgiveness, prayer and compassion in the way of reconciling them to God by Jesus Christ.

PEOPLE ORGANIZATION:

Organizing the un-Organized:

Every group or community must be properly organized if it is going to be efficient and get its job done. Without proper strategic organization nothing can be achieved in any areas of the endeavor. It is true in religion also. Apostle Paul also taught and preached the Gospel organized every individual as well as communities to build up of the body of Christ and to instill the hope of eternal life.

CHURCH OF HOPE MINISTRIES - CHM identified much neglected areas in the fields of education, health, employment, drinking water, communication and housing. The rural Scene of these are as weak and the life of under privileged sections in very miserable. They need a hope for their survived.

GIVING HOPE TO ALL:

The Church of Hope Ministries (CHM) in India prepared to give hope to all those who are suffering with poverty, sickness, sorrow and sin without regard to their age, sex, caste, creed or religion.

The Church has observed that lives of poor widely disrupted and distorted the real way of living by worldly entices and modernity. Many people a started to mundane life. Depressions, their sense of hopelessness have become barriers to their spiritual growth. Such people trying to ever come infirmities to over come infirmities with materialistic practices.

Now there are so many destitute children those who are crying for help. Among the destitute orphans are vulnerable and they are isolated from the society and forced to live on pavements and in some unhygienic and dangerous places. Particularly children between 8-14 of age are often seen picking rags, working in small restaurants as waiters, washing utensils bigger than them selves and begging in all common places. Some children often turn to criminals and quite a number of girls are sexually abused and sold to broths. Some young children are illegally employed in some hazardous industries by enticing food and a little money. The wages of working children are not enough events to fill their bellies, not to mention requirements of clothing, shelter, medicine and education. When we compared the life of orphans to that of children in families, their lot is very miserable and filthy; they can't get love, and the care of parents in times of sick and sorrow. By and large their poor conditions and helpless vicissitudes remind us of our responsibility to bring hope in their lives.

FUTURE PROGRAMS:

We the executive body members firmly believe that church of Hope Ministries will stand to provide an answer to the physical and spiritual needs of the poor and the needy here in India.

We regularly follow your advises and guidelines in carrying out the evangelistic and giving hope to all programs.
