Bangalore Kidney Foundation
The Bangalore Kidney Foundation has provided medical services for kidney patients for over 10 years in Bangalore district.
Our foundation's goal and aim is to provide kidney-related medical services to ALL people in need, whether financially secure or not, in our state.
Our efforts have already established small clinics for dialysis services to needing patients in smaller rural areas. Many of our patients in need are very poor and cannot afford expensive dialysis treatment needed to avoid kidney failures. Without this treatment they are unable to work and face starvation.
At our foundation we use funds from paying patients and cover services for those of poorer sections.
Our foundation has as goal to establish 100 Kidney Mobile Med Vans that can reach remote and poor districts in the state of Kerala. We intend these vans to provide information on kidney related diseases as well as free dialysis services for patients in remote areas whom cannot afford neither travels to the city - or the care they need.
We also wish to be able to expand our staff support, our facilities and acquire new equipment which is needed badly.
