Association for Welfare Activities for Rural Development (AWARD)
Best greetings from AWARD. We are a registered organization by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, India. Our registered number is 79/2006. We have been working for 2 years. Our mission is to service disabled women and children in the fields of health and education.
Our on going Activities are :
- Awareness Camps on HIV/AIDS in the Schools and Collages.
AWARD provides counseling for HIV/AIDS affected persons:
- Pretest counseling
- Post test counseling
- Nutritional counseling
- Follow-up counseling
- Family counseling
- Couple counseling
- Grief counseling
- Terminal counseling
- Free education to 132 orphan children.
- 60 Women Groups (saving & thrift).
Up to now we helped fund the above activities with our own amounts and local people contributions. But now I am helpless to help them as my hands are empty. If you could help us we can continue to serve HIV/AIDS affected Persons. The activities, which we are doing, are very necessary in our area.
