Anusaran In search of lost innocence.
To all the well wishers of Anusaran, who have the passion to serve and support the deprived communities and hence to bring the change, Anusaran with grateful heart brings the report on current updates:
- A Drawing Competition was organised on 8th October 2006 in the village school. More than 200 children participated with lots of joy and enthusiasm.
- After Drawing Competition, Parents Meeting was organised. It was very encouraging to see the parents so very enthusiastic and happy towards the activities and education going on in Anusaran (the local area is lacking in lots of basic amenities). The parents showed their faith and trust in the good work going on in Anusaran.
- The children who are coming to Anusaran non-formal education programme are doing very good in their formal education as well in Government schools. Many of them stood first in their classes. Adity, Shivam, Pradeep and Shubhanker are some of the examples. They stood first in the whole sections of their schools.
- There are many young women in village school, who are deprived of being educated or have any skill. They are coming in Women’s Empowerment programme of Anusaran. They are learning English, making beautiful hand embroidered tops, learning how to apply henna , learning cooking different delicacies, beauty tips etc.
- Small children in Group I ( 5 -7 years old) are learning ‘Jingle Bells’ to sing in front of St. Clause, when he will arrive during Christmas party in December. Children in Group II (8-10 years old) are learning to do a skit during party and children from Group III (11- 15 years old) are learning a beautiful song.
- In Anusaran we are planning to conduct an outdoor workshop cum retreat for the girls of women’s empowerment programme.
- In coming days we are planning to organise Sports Day for the children of local community.
- Since the children are learning lots of handicrafts etc. we are planning to organise a craft exhibition during next Parents Meeting for the local community.
We also encourage those who want to contribute. It will be a great help - you can donate financially (there are lots of tasks to be done - there is an urgent need to build the girls hostel, where we can provide shelter, food and education to the needy girls, who have no support). People can donate books, clothes, study materials, sport items etc.
We at Anusaran are heartily thankful to all our well wishers, their contributions to make the mission go on.
