Anjani FoundationAnjani aims at restoring to poor what is rightfully theirs, we feel that hungry and needy people must not be made to feel obliged for the support they receive. Hence, all the resources we raise are pooled together and disbursed to the programmes we support, not to individual person. Every attempt is made to ensure that there is no differentiation between hungry and needy people. What ANJANI is: ANJANI is an Indian trust started and managed by Indians. Almost all ANJANI supporters are Indian or of Indian origin and ANJANI funds are deployed in India. ANJANI is an NGO - a non-government organization and NPO - not for profit organization. We do not receive any direct government funding. This is important as it allows us to remain independent and to make unbiased evaluations of government policies and programmes. In recognition of ANJANI's work, the government has extended certain tax and duty exemptions that allow us to minimize costs. What we feel: In keeping with our belief that the work we do aims at restoring to poor what is rightfully theirs, we feel that hungry and needy people must not be made to feel obliged for the support they receive. Hence, all the resources we raise are pooled together and disbursed to the programmes we support, not to individual person. Every attempt is made to ensure that there is no differentiation between hungry and needy people. Out of every 100 children born in India today:
What ANJANI wants: We want to encourage them to dream. But, more importantly, we want to empower them to deliver on their dreams. We want them to grow into concerned citizens. And we want them to leave with a job. Visit the Anjani Foundation web site. |
