Anbarasi Social Action
We wish to introduce ourselves as a charitable institution by the name of Anbarasi Social Action ( Home for orphaned and abandoned children) located in 19, Karur Road, Dindigul and registered under Societies Act vide Old No. 16/1974 dt 07.10.1974. New No. 91/1994 dt 03.03.1994.
Actually, the organization was founded by Rev. Fr. Mariadasan SJ with the intention to provide pride, hope and life to orphans in need. Unfortunately, the founder was no more during the year 2000. His subordinate Ms. Josephine took charge of the home and continuing the aim of founder.
Ms. Josephine was an ex nun of a convent and she accompanied the founder since 1974.
Our home is situated in an area of 5 Acres of land on in which is constructed a building of 9000 square feet with toilets and bathrooms and has a big play ground furnished.
At present the organization is taking care of orphaned and abandoned children of society, providing them with food, clothing, shelter and education. Our main mission is to bring up these less fortunate children of society in a divine environment and help them become good citizens.
Presently we accommodate above 103 inmates of which 69 are boys and the remaining 34 are girls. All are in the age group of 5 years to 16 years going to various schools.
