Akshar Abhyaas
Akshar Abhyaas is a grass roots non-profit charitable trust for the education, training and rehabilitation of underprivileged, handicapped and downtrodden children of rural and remote villages in South Asia. The Trust primarily focuses on eradicating gender inequality and promoting basic education and literacy in girl children and handicapped, where these are viewed as a social liability.
Akshar Abhyaas also works in the field to help maintain general sanitation and improve living standards in villages affected by natural disaster and calamity hit areas, on a continuing basis especially when fresh "bleeding-hearts" funds dry up and all aids, political, corporate and NGO's turn away.
