INTRODUCATION
Amar Jyoti Bal Vikas Sansthan is a 4 year old society in the village of Laltappad - Doiwala Disst-Dehradun Uttrakhand engaged in the education of poor children and development with particular emphasis on the underprivileged child.
AIM
Our Focus is on better education and employment generation activities. Our beneficiaries include the welfare of orphan and BPL (Below Poverty Line ) family children who are deprived of good education and career opportunities .We are also in the process of Establishing a school sponsorship program for disadvantaged children with special interest in the disabled children as there is a big need for this.
- To impart education to all students irrespective of their caste, creed colour, religion or sex.
- To propagate the highest cultural , social, technological and spiritual education; to develop the multifaceted talents of students to give intellectual, moral and physical help to make useful citizens rooted in the spiritual tradition of the country.
- >To establish and maintain educational Institutions in Uttranchal, Delhi or else whereas may be determined by the Governing Body, aiming to provide education for all categories of students, imparting moral training coupled with social, technical, scientific and spiritual education.
- To establish academic and spiritual Research Institutes Libraries, Boarding Houses and other facilities as decided by the Governing Body.
- To makes recordings of the Institution ’s works and researches to print and disseminate scientific, culture and spiritual works of contemporary and traditional origin.
- To provide scholarships for deserving students/scholars.
- To run an orphanage for handicapped children and to arrange for their proper education, food and shelter.
- To provide medical facilities to the poor needy handicapped children.
- To promote handicrafts and hand make articles and to establish training centers to impart training on handicrafts to poor and needy persons in order to make them self earning.
We offer our own service and share our experience for the training of teachers so they Can implement disability -friendly, inclusive curriculum and practices. We are also doing extra curricular activities to increase the moral of children’s like quiz contest, distribution of prizes, deminars, soft toys making, greeting card etc., computer education, music, handicraft working and sports games.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
To ensure that the children form the deprived section of the population and the children With a Physical or Mental disability form poor communities get appropriate education And orientation to employment generation programs designed to meet their detailed need So that every child enjoys RIGHT to education.
Amar Jyoti Bal Vikas Sansthan works mainly for the child education and welfare of Low income families.

In the past three years the organization has instituted many programs which cater to the Underprivileged children with regards to education needs and employment generation Activities. The total student strength is now 85 and a network has been established to augment the same which calls for even better infrastructure and framework to implement the same. We look forward for the sponsors and other such organization that come Forward to serve the cause and bring much needed RIGHT to education for all.
PROJECT NEEDS AND BENEFICIARIES
Although the government has programs and policies which cover the concept, it is not Happening and the true benefits are not reaching the targeted children. In the BPL Families and Low -income areas where children have access to free schools run by the Government, disabled children are admitted but have no access to the remedial resources They need nor quality academics, because of the untrained teachers who are not versed in dealing with them.
Most private schools refuse them admission .Beneficiaries will be the children from such areas who need special attention and focus.
Upcoming Projects - Amar Jyoti Bal Vikas Sansthan:
- Child development of weaker section of the society: To provide the complete protection and homely environment, Sansthan is involved in constructing the shelter / hostel for poor/disabled children to protect them, provide free meal,clothes, etc.
- Women Education and Self Development: To Provide the self development & career opportunities to women / girls of the weaker section of the society, Amar Jyoti Sansthan is providing professional training to them for making soft toys, knitting, computer education, etc.
