Veterans Foundation of Illinois
We offer a Four Part Program to:
- Assist wounded soldiers designed to provide personal care items such as pajamas, sandals, personal razors, shaving cream, etc. to veterans who have been wounded overseas and returned home to recuperate in hospitals across the nation.
- Donations to this program enable us to provide assistance to our veterans and their families serving in the military today.
- Voice of Democracy Youth Scholarship, sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, offers cash awards to Illinois High School Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.
- Veteran Services. We provide highly trained professionals to assist veterans and their families in obtaining disability benefits, filing claims, gaining admittance to VA Hospitals and burial services.
