United Citizens of America
We are a beacon for all Americans fighting unjust taxation and abusive government. It is time to force our political employee's to clean house. Our Promise to “We designed this organization specifically to fail if the majority of the American population does not support it. Our forefathers fought the American Revolution in order to stop unjust taxation from the English monarchy. In essence, we are proposing to do the same except this war will be a war of money, not muskets and bayonets, and the battle field will be conference rooms and offices of government institutions. Just like during the revolution, if millions of Americans do not support this effort, we will not succeed. This war is the combined financial might of the American people vs. corporatism and greedy politicians. Our U.C.A. administrators are not here to make a buck. Our overhead is minimal (3%) it must be in order to return donated funds and still have enough to lobby effectively. The U.C.A. organized to give the American population a common place to combine our voice and go to war for taxation change. We did not want to create an organization that would continue to operate and prey on American support by annually bombarding citizens repeatedly with phone calls, e-mails, fund-raisers, etc. There are plenty of non-profits doing this already. This is why we are operating on a one-time-lifetime donation system, why we instituted a champion program, and why we will refund all donations. Once we achieve the goal, we return all funds and then this organization will cease to exist. We are not looking to generate a lifetime organization with bloated payrolls and administration or to support U.C.A. administrators through retirement. We are here for one purpose only, and that is Taxation Reform. This is our promise to the American people.” Angelo Pesce, President - United Citizens of NOTE - Due to the United Citizens of America's 501 (c) (4) designation and the federal laws governing this designation, no monies donated are tax deductible. This is why we can give your money back to you. Only 501 (c) (4) organizations can directly influence government action through lobbying. The most common organization, 501 (c) (3)'s can only whine and stomp their feet. Put your money where it will do the most good.
